Everyone knows Zyzz. Aziz Sergeyevich Shavershian was an Australian model, part-time stripper, personal trainer and bodybuilder. He was known for his aesthetic physique which made him an icon to many even after his death (Zyzz suffered a heart attack). Zyzz’s story of transformation from an average, lanky teenager into a shredded man plus his hardcore workout routine inspired a lot of individuals to follow his path.
Today, we’ll focus on Zyzz’s leg workout routine. Zyzz emphasized the huge significance of leg training. Even if it was his least favorite training to do, he knew the immense benefits one can get from training legs.
Zyzz would normally do his leg training every Tuesdays. But you can incorporate the Zyzz leg workout any day that you wish:
- 4 sets of Squats – 8 to 10 reps
- 3 sets of Lunges – 8 to 10 reps
- 3 sets of Leg Press – 8 to 10 reps
- 3 sets of Leg Extensions until failure
- 3 sets of Leg Curls – 8 to 10 reps
For the calves, Zyzz would do 3 sets until failure on the calf raise machine.
*When it comes to leg extensions, you may choose not to go until failure more than once in 3 weeks. You may do around 4 to 6 reps for mass and strength, or perform 10 to 12 reps for pure size.
Make the Zyzz leg workout routine an essential part of your training. It will give your legs that compact, shredded bulk and optimum endurance!
